A New Start
My birthday just passed, and I'm tired of having afternoon groggies, hypoglycemic seizures, and having rollarcoaster mood swings from PMS. It's not New Years, but I think a nutritional change is in order. Time to stop eating deep fried & petrified junk - I'm starting on the Atkins diet today.
I've done at least half a years research in books and online (even interviewed some people) on many nutritional models, before I chose Atkins – it seemed for a hypoglycemic, the message basically was “exercise, eat your veggies, high protein and whole grains are good for you" in most books anyway.
My goals: to balance my blood sugar, and maybe lose just a few pounds. I want to get from 140 to 120.
